What if we could worship God sincerely, but still miss the point of worship? In Matthew 6:1–18, Jesus gives His followers a warning: be careful not to practice your righteousness simply to be seen by others. Worship isn’t ultimately about what we do or how we do it, it’s about who we’re worshiping and why. As we follow Jesus together, we’re invited to examine our motives and remember that our worship is meant for an audience of One.
