HELPING WITHOUT HURTING COURSE

Discover a Biblical framework for helping those in poverty as we walk through the Chalmer's Center's 'Helping without Hurting' course. We will discuss key learnings that shape the way Cibolo Creek cares for those in poverty in our community and world. You may think you know what serving those in need is all about, but you might be surprised! PERSPECTIVES COURSE

Perspectives is a fifteen-lesson education course exploring different aspects of God's global purpose in a multi-faceted learning experience. It isn’t a course solely about world missions. It’s a study program rooted in Scripture, clarifying each believer’s remarkable opportunity to join God in His global purpose.

COLONIA MISSION

Cibolo Creek began a partnership with Buckner International in the Penitas & Donna colonias in the fall of 2022 in an effort to share the Gospel with families living along the Texas/Mexico border. Our hope is to develop on-going relationships with local churches and families living in both colonias who are in need of Christ.

SERVING SUNDAY: REFUGEE OUTREACH

Participate in training on the Cibolo campus about serving refugees followed by travel to a medical center area apartment complex. We will distribute flyers and invite families to the complex playground for games and to receive diapers and rice. Get to know the families' stories and begin to build friendships as we share the love of Jesus.

REACH | TEACH | LOVE

Reach, Teach, Love International (RTL) serves the refugee and immigrant community living locally and abroad. RTL helps to remove misconceptions about other cultures, and creates a bridge where love and respect are exchanged. This provides greater opportunities to extend the love of God to others in a meaningful way that impacts the hearts and minds of people everywhere.

MISSION IN YOUR CITY

Reach, Teach, Love International (RTL) hosts a one-day, immersive mission in San Antonio's "Silk Road" area, home to thousands of refugees and immigrants. The event includes an overview of the local communities, followed by hands-on experiences with the people, culture, and food. Participants visit a mosque liaison and engage cross-culturally to break down misconceptions, build relationships, and share the love of Jesus in impactful ways.

MINISTRY OF MERCY ORPHANAGES

Cibolo Creek was introduced to Ministry of Mercy Orphanage by its founders, Daniel and Esther Edeh, in 2007. We knew God was calling us to serve where most missions organizations do not go. Since our first trip in 2008, Ministry of Mercy has become family. We believe God is not done working through Cibolo Creek in Nigeria and this trip will include a group of people looking to explore our next steps with the ministry. As a partner of Ministry of Mercy, we support their efforts in orphan care, food assistance, medical care, education, well drilling, solar electric, building projects and more!

MISSION TRIP FACILITATOR

Every great journey needs a guide. As a Mission Trip Facilitator, you help chart the course, rally the team, and ensure each traveler makes the most of their adventure. You’re not just leading logistics — you’re shepherding hearts. 
From preparing your team before departure, to navigating the work on the ground, to celebrating God’s work when you return home, a mission trip facilitators role is vital. If you have served on a mission trip with Cibolo Creek and are ready to take your mission experience to the next level, we want to hear from you!

Anything we do should begin, continue with and end in prayer—and missions is no exception. As we seek to take the Gospel to the nations, one of the most powerful ways you can be involved is through prayer. You may not be called to go on a trip or give financially, but you can pray! As a Global Mission Prayer Partner, you’ll join a mission alongside those who physically participate by covering them in consistent, intentional prayer.
