Accounting & Financial coordinator

 

Purpose statemenT:
The Financial Coordinator helps fulfill the purpose of CIBOLOCREEK by ensuring that all ministry efforts relative to the church's finances are accomplished with timeliness, integrity and effectiveness.

REPORTS TO:
Executive Pastor

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial
- oversee and maintains the financial records of the church to include: timely deposits, accounts receivables, reconciliations, various reporting, prepares financial statements and reports. Has experience in all applicable reporting applications. 
Records - administer church's record retention schedule ensuring all types of financial church records are properly stored and disposed of as determined by the retention schedule. 
Payroll - responsible for posting payroll reports and issue checks for contract labor employees.
Purchasing - execute online purchasing for all ministries when required. Oversee vendor relationships.
General Duties - the Financial Coordinator will attend to other duties as described the Executive Pastor to the fulfillment of the church's Vision, Mission and Purpose.

WORK SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION:
Part Time - 20 hours per week @ $23per hour. Employee Benefits not available.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Accounting
  • Accounting/ Finance Experience, preferably in a church or non profit
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills, attention to detail
  • Effective communication and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Much be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting systems, i.e. Shelby Next Financials
  • Team Player

Childcare Coordinator 



PURPOSE:
This position exists to coordinate childcare requirements for Cibolo Creek Community Church’s Life Groups and special events which are a connection point for individuals seeking to begin or grow their relationship with Jesus Christ.     

REPORTS TO:
Life Groups Pastor 

STATEMENT OF WORK:
Up to 10 hours @ $14. per hour. Employee Benefits not available.

DELIVERABLES: 

  • Adhere to the childcare manual 
  • Follow all security protocols
  • Develop and maintain Church Management System – Planning Center for registration and check in.
  • Approve timecards for childcare workers & submit by end of day on Tuesday  
  • Correspond with families using childcare: Welcome email, registration follow-up
  • Recruit, train, and communicate with the childcare workers
  • Plan & obtain supplies for activities, crafts and appropriate snacks. 
  • Fill-in for childcare workers if they cancel
  • Facilitate Childcare for church Special Events:
  • NEXT Leadership/Volunteer Training 
  • C4 Electives
  • Women’s Bible Study

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completed Background Check
  • Access to & confidentiality of information 
  • Ensure Personally Identifiable Information is secure
  • Access & appropriate use of the Church Facility

CHILDCARE ADULT LEAD & TEEN WORKERS


CIBOLOCREEK is looking for childcare Lead and Teen workers. These part-time positions are paid and on a weekly and as needed basis. Days, times and ages of children will vary.
