Worship Anyway | Keeping Our Eyes on God in the Storms of Life

Cibolo Creek Community Church
In this service at Cibolo Creek Community Church, Adult Ministry Pastor, Kristin Burford, explored 2 Chronicles 20 and the story of King Jehoshaphat to discover what worship can look like during seasons of struggle. Through worship, scripture, and teaching, we were reminded that worship is more than singing — it is a posture of trust, surrender, and keeping our eyes on God even when we do not know what to do. Looking at Jehoshaphat’s response to fear and uncertainty, we considered how worship becomes our instinct when we consistently seek God, remember His faithfulness, and trust Him to fight our battles. The service also introduced a simple breath prayer based on 2 Chronicles 20:12: “We do not know what to do, but we keep our eyes on You.” Whether you are walking through a storm or standing in a season of peace, this message is an encouragement to worship anyway and trust God through every circumstance.
