A study on the book of Ruth for all 6th-8th grade girls!
6-8th grade girls! Let's hangout, have fun, and learn how we can dive deeper in God's Word by taking a look at the life of Ruth!
Middle school is a perfect time to begin learning how to dig deeper into the Bible and integrate God’s Word into the every day habits of life. For 9 weeks this spring semester (with a fun party on the last week!), our study from the book "RUTH: Becoming a girl of loyalty" will focus on how Ruth’s life became an important story in the book of God’s story, the Bible! The central theme is about building character in learning about what loyalty means and how to apply it in their life.
Some topics we will cover together are:
- What is loyalty?
- What does a loyal girl do when life gets hard?
- How does a loyal girl deal with loneliness?
- How does a loyal girl face the future?
- Where is God in the book of Ruth?
We will meet Monday evenings from 6:30-8pm beginning on March 18th and concluding on May 13th. Our weekly gatherings will include a review of the previous week’s study, discussion, a game or craft, a light meal and we’ll even have a Christmas in April celebration!
Our awesome small group leaders are Rebecca Ochoa & Amie Willing who have a HUGE heart for our girls! They are excited to host our MS girls in Amie's home where they can help make the experience personal for all the girls! (We will send contact info and address separately to those who register.)
**To help offset the cost of the books, please bring $5 cash with you to your first Monday night joining us!
**This study is more oriented toward the 6th/7th grade age range, but all 8th graders are welcome to join and learn about Ruth with us!
