I believe that the Bible is a written record of divine revelation through human authors who were moved by God to record accurately what He wanted us to know about Himself. The Bible is our authority and guide in faith and living.

I believe that there is one true God eternally co-existing as three perfect divine persons who share complete equality in their godly attributes. In keeping with the pattern of Scriptures we refer to the individuals of this Trinity as the Father - the Son - and the Holy Spirit.

I believe that Jesus Christ is that divine person of the Trinity who willingly chose to become a man in order to offer himself as the sinless sacrifice and divine substitute for the sins of mankind. Jesus resurrected from the dead to demonstrate His authority over sin and his ability to provide eternal life to those who trust in Him.

I believe that the Holy Spirit is that divine person of the Trinity that assumes the most active role in accomplishing the spiritual growth of a Christ follower. The Christian's demonstration of Christ-like convictions -attitudes - and actions is proof of the Spirit's work in his/her life.

I believe that God 's greatest passion for humanity is to enjoy a loving relationship with every human being that he created. However - sin has jeopardized the relationship between man and God and left them alienated from each other. But God' s love is so great that He accepts the death of Jesus Christ as the payment for the sins of each person who would recognize his/ her need for salvation and trust in Christ as his/ her Savior and Lord.

The Scriptures declare that all human beings will continue to live for an eternity following their time on this earth. According to the Scriptures - eternity includes the two realities of Heaven and Hell. We believe Heaven will be inhabited to those who have been reconciled to God through a relationship with Jesus Christ as their Savior. We believe that the souls of those who have not been reconciled to God through a relationship with Jesus Christ will live in Hell - separated from God - for all eternity.

I believe the Church is a biblically functioning community of fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ who partnered together in the work of ministry for the advance of God's redemptive purposes throughout the world. While all believers are part of the universal Church - the physical reflection of their spiritual adoption into God's family is manifested by their participation in a local church where encouragement and accountability are provided and the expressions of their spiritual gifts are shared.

I believe that the moment a person places his/her faith in Jesus Christ for salvation - he/she receives a spiritual capacity for obedience to the will of God as described in the Scriptures. As a disciple of Jesus Christ - the Christian begins a journey of spiritual growth intended to reflect to others the attitudes - values - priorities - and actions of Jesus Christ. Spiritual maturity then is most accurately demonstrated in a Christ-like character and conduct in the life of a Christian. Recognizing that the Christian life is a journey - it is ever-present progress toward Christ-like maturity that the Christian should expect rather than perfection.
