COVID-19 Update

UPDATE - MARCH 24, 2020

Dear CIBOLOCREEK Family,

I want to share with you our recent conversations and decisions related to our campus and upcoming services/events.

As you know, effective midnight last night through midnight April 3, the City of Boerne is prohibiting all gatherings for non-essential services/businesses.  That means our office.  Additionally, the Mayor of San Antonio has mandated a “stay at home” policy through April 9th for all non-essential services/businesses. With those directives, we have incorporated work from home for our staff.

While the church is considered non-essential under both of these mandates we are exempted as it relates to Faith Based Streaming, video or other technology services.   We are aligning to these decisions as they are being communicated.  Flexibility is key.

As of today:

  • We have 1 person in the office to receive mail, packages, etc.
All other staff are working from home.
  • Our campus is closed to visitors, ministry activities, etc. through April 12.
At this time Easter is online, all activities related to Easter will be online.
  • Serving Sunday will be experienced differently in 2020 (more to come on that).

As a reminder, Paul has a message on our cibolocreek.com website which is our (HQ) primary communication point.

Please continue to visit the website frequently and encourage your teams to do the same.

Remember our 3 important priorities in response to the Coronavirus (COVID -19) crisis.

1. STAY CONNECTED (Romans 15:13)
2. PRAY (Matthew 18:20)
3. LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR (John 13:34)

Thank you for your leadership and please let us know if there is anything you need,
Janine Smithies, Executive Pastor
