For 23 years, Winter Retreat has been a Cibolo Creek tradition where 3rd–8th graders step away from their everyday routines for an unforgettable weekend of fun adventure, time with new and old friends, and growing closer to Jesus. From games, hikes, and s’mores to worship, Bible study, and small-group conversations, Winter Retreat creates space for kids and students to make great memories and take their next step in their faith journey.

Winter Retreat is possible because of the adults and high schoolers that help make it happen—not simply by filling volunteer positions, but by investing in the lives of kids and students. Whether you're leading a small group, running recreation, serving meals, or making things happen behind the scenes, you're helping create a weekend where 3rd–8th graders can build Christ-centered friendships, experience biblical community, and grow closer to Jesus. You don't have to be a kids or student ministry expert. You just need to be willing to show up, serve, and help us invest in the next generation.
