gathering update, June 26th

As followers of Christ, we’re called to gather together. We're meant to be together, to learn, worship, and pray for each other, and to encourage each other.  Join us online for our new service times starting Sunday, July 5th.

online Service Times

8:30 am – Adult Service
9:45 am – Adult Service
11:00 am – Family Service*

All Services will be shortened to 40 minutes.  *The family service will be different from the adult services and will be designed specifically for families with children in Elementary through Middle School.  Parents must attend with their children.

When we are able to meet in person again, the guidelines and roles will be as follows:

IN-PERSON GUIDELINES

CIBOLOCREEK'S ROLE:

  • Our volunteers (ushers, greeters, etc.) will maintain social distancing from other attendees and encourage that safety precautions be followed.
  • Entry, exit and auditorium doors will be open.
  • We will not be handing out programs. Our give boxes will be available at the back of the auditorium.
  • Children and Student Ministries will not be available during this time.
  • Surfaces and seats will be sanitized and cleaned.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available at the entrance and restroom hallway.
  • Ushers will direct you to your seats and dismiss by rows.
  • We are focusing on a touch-free environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Reservations are required; we ask that you register HERE.
  • Masks are encourage and suggested, but are optional.
  • Sanitize your hands at our sanitation station at the entrance.
  • Keep physical distance from other attendees (6 feet); do not gather in groups before or after the service; please wave and say hello from a distance.
  • Confirm that you are healthy with your personal doctor and do not attend if you have symptoms of any illness within the past 14 days.
  • Family units will be sitting together with at least 2 empty chairs between families.

SHOULD EVERYONE COME BACK?

While we'd love to see each of you in-person, we know there are some limitations that may prevent you from attending. If you find yourself in one of the following categories, please consider continuing to worship online:

  • You are over the age of 65.
  • You are at risk or have a compromised immune system.
  • You are sick or have been around anyone that has been sick.
  • You have small children who find it difficult to stay in a seat through a service.
  • You are more comfortable worshiping at home.

Whether or not you are able to return to physical gatherings at this time, the most important thing is that we stay spiritually and relationally connected as a church family – in person or online!

FAQS

Do I have to register to attend a Service?

Yes, we have adjusted the auditorium seating to align with social distancing requirements.  Please register to make sure you and your family have a seat.

What is provided for families with kids at this time?

While we are not offering on-site Children or Student Ministry services yet, we have many resources to help families grow relationally and spiritually every day!

KidsCreek

Students are encouraged to attend services with their parents.  We are also scheduling physical and online events for students which can be found on the Overflow page.

OVERFLOW

When will Kids Creek & Overflow be open?

There are many factors to consider as we carefully think about next steps. We will continue to provide updates on our website, through email, social media, and weekend announcements.

What are the safety precautions for coming to church and why should I follow them, especially if I’m healthy?

  • Wash your hands often/thoroughly.
  • Practice social distancing (6 feet) with people outside of your household (even if you see others who are not doing so!)
  • Stay home if you (or anyone in your household) are showing any symptoms of illness.
  • Walk in grace as you encounter any roadblocks or challenges; we’re all in this together and doing things we’ve never done before.

Could the safety requirements for attendees change?

Yes.  As we continue to monitor the situation and consult with outside experts, the requirements could change based on new information.
