We offer opportunities to serve our community on several Sunday mornings during the year as a way to serve beyond Serving Sunday.
The next BEYOND SERVING SUNDAY event will be Sunday, August 4th at Riverview Care Center & Open Trail Ranch.
At Riverview Care Center we will have the opportunity to interact with the residents as we play bingo or work on a craft together. This is a great family-friendly serving opportunity. We will meet at the church at 9:15 am and then head over to Riverview at 1102 River Road in Boerne. For questions, email Karen @ kkochh@aol.com.
Open Trail Ranch is in need of some specialty work done replacing above ground hoses with underground hoses for their water usage. Mike Spell will lead this project and is in need of the following help:
-2 people to clean out trenches and hand-dig over utilities
-2 people to lay pipe
-2 people to make tee and termination connections (7)
-2 people to cover pipe and fill trenches
If you are able, please sign up here to help on Sunday, and bring your gloves and shovels.
