Your Journey
Maybe it’s a crisis in your life. Maybe it is the birth of your first child. Maybe its just some nagging unrest inside of you. Whatever it is, it has you laying awake at night. It has you distracted at work. It has you asking, "What if?" It has you sitting here looking at the Web for some church.

Something has motivated you to inquire. Unanswered questions. An empty feeling. Something a friend said about their faith in God and answered prayer. Now you’re looking for something...something more. You may not even know it, but you may be looking for God. You’re a seeker. Let the journey begin.

Whatever brought you here, we want to help you in your journey. We want to help you find what you’re looking for. Open yourself up to the possibility that it just might be God. After all, He’s been looking for you.

But you don’t believe in God, now, do you? You don’t have time for that kind of stuff. You’re smarter than that! You’re educated, capable and you’ve always been able to get it for yourself. But lately, usually when you are all alone, you’ve been wondering about a lot of things. What do you have to do to shake that nagging question,

" What if ? "

God said, "Behold, I stand at the door knocking.
If anyone lets me, I will come in and build a relationship with them." Revelation 3:20

Let the journey begin...

The first step. They say the first step is always the hardest. So just begin where you are right now. Tell God that you want to know more about Him. Ask Him to meet you where you are; right in the middle of all your doubts, fears, questions, and stereotypical images of who He is. Just make some room in your life for the possibility that there is a God and that He thinks the world of you.

The next step is to position yourself in places where God might choose to meet you. Reading your Bible is a great place to start. Prayer can open doors to your heart that have otherwise remained closed. A good church can help too. It connects you with others on the same spiritual journey. It doesn’t have to be Cibolo Creek, but we’re a good option. We started this church just for people like yourself; people who are seeking. At Cibolo Creek, you’ll find a place where your spiritual journey will be affirmed and encouraged, your questions respectfully considered...at a pace that’s comfortable for you.
And finally, admit that you need to find out more about God, the Bible, and Christianity than what you’ve understood so far.

Accept that you’re a seeker; one who is in search of the truth about God. Read the Bible or books about it. Ask questions. Consider other angles. Give God a chance before you dismiss Him too quickly. Commit yourself to discovering more of what it means to let God have a say in how you go about doing your life.

Who knows, you just might find what you’re looking for deep down inside of you. Hope. Love. Peace. Forgiveness. Help. God.

If we can help, we’re here for you.
