Coming to Terms
(with Our Faith)
As we draw to the close of
a wonderful summer, Cibolo Creek will tackle a
new three-part message series entitled Coming to
Terms. It will be an in-depth look at crucial
words many use to describe their faith in Jesus
Christ. Unfortunately, we toss them around with
such familiarity that we don't always understand
what they really mean. Join us as our Senior
Pastor, Paul Wilson returns from his summer
travels with a up-close and honest look at the
words: Christian, Believer and Disciple.
What do these terms really
mean? Are they interchangeable; different ways
to say the same thing? More importantly, do they
mean anything at all in our twenty-first century
world where words infused with religious octane
alienate more people than they attract? Find out
what Jesus and the authors of the Bible meant
when they used the words we often use to
describe our faith twenty-one centuries later.
A lot can change in
twenty-one centuries. It will be eye-opening, to
say the least. But that just may be the point!

How Do You Spell
"Community?"
Join Paul Wilson for a
four-part series of messages on one of the
Scripture's most prevalent themes: No One Should
Have To Do Life Alone. In this series, Paul will
be walking us through several important
principles of the Bible that guide us toward the
absolute best way to live our lives in the
company of other traveling companions who join
us for this journey we call "Life." He will
present a crucial biblical pattern for what
makes friendships truly spiritual and its
significant place in the life of a church
family.
Curious about how to spell
"Community?"
Can you do it with three
letters? |
