This local mission trip is a great introduction into God’s heart for the world, knowing how to share your faith, and to have a cross-cultural experience!
We are partnering up with New Hope Connection, a local ministry committed to serving, loving, and sharing Jesus with hundreds of refugees who have been relocated to San Antonio. Many refugees have come to live in our backyard from Afghanistan and practice Islam faith and customs. What an opportunity we have to share Jesus’ love for them!
To do this, we will be spending our mornings each day preparing the day’s curriculum and having team building exercises, before we head out to our ministry location after lunch to host “Party Clubs” at apartment complexes. Our Party Clubs will be very similar to hosting a Vacation Bible School for low-income and refugee children!
