Why Does Global Missions Matter?

Understanding God’s heart for the nations helps us see the bigger story of Scripture and our place within it. God’s mission has always been global—His desire is for people from every tribe, tongue, and nation to know Him and worship Him (Revelation 7:9). When we open up ourselves up to joining God in His redemptive work around the world, our perspective broadens, our compassion grows, and we are reminded that we are part of a global family of believers.
