Kathryn Valdez
was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Her parents and siblings still live there and she goes back as often as she can to visit them and get her “Steak ‘N Shake” and St. Louis sports teams fixes. She has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years. She moved to Colorado Springs in 2001 to work for USAA. She transferred to the USAA San Antonio Home Office in January, 2005 and started going regularly to Cibolo Creek that summer. Kathryn and her husband Lou, a marriage and family therapist, were married in December, 2007.

Glenn Jones
had the pleasure of growing up in both South Texas and Eastern North Carolina. He graduated from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina with a BBA in Finance and a certificate in Trust Management. Since graduation, Glenn has worked for Jefferson-Pilot Life Insurance and Mutual of Omaha Insurance.
In October of 2002, he joined the agency of Impelman Insurance & Investment Services, L.L.P. as the Director of Employee Benefits and Sales.
In October 2005, Glen and his wife visited Cibolo Creek Community Church for the first time and knew that God was calling them to become part of this community and to use their experiences, gifts, and talents to see that unchurched people have a relationship of full devotion toward Jesus Christ. He is actively involved in his small group, the C4 motorcycle ministry and mentoring men in a regular Saturday morning Bible Study.
Glenn and his wife Dyna have been married since 1995. They have not been blessed with children as of yet, but God has entrusted them with a few pets to manage on this earth which includes: 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 1 rabbit.

Mike Kelley
was born in Hahn Germany in 1959, the second
oldest of eight children. His father was a
career Air Force officer, and he spent his
childhood moving around the United States. He
received a Bachelor of Science degree in
Business Administration from the University of
Nevada, Las Vegas and a Masters of Science
degree in Computer Information Systems from
Boston University. Like his father, Mike also
made a career as an Air Force officer. He spent
15 years on active duty before transitioning to
Delta Air lines. After living all over the
world, the Kelley's have finally set roots in
Texas. Aside from flying for Delta, I also fly
for the Texas Air National Guard.
Mike has been married to Diana since 1984. They
have two children, Anna Marie and Matthew. All
four of them were baptized together at Cibolo
Creek in 2003.

John Politi
was born and raised in New York City. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado, a Master of Science Degree in Economics from South Dakota State University, and also completed the Advanced Executive Management Program at Texas A&M University. John completed a full career in the United States Air Force and started a consulting business, The Avalon Group, upon leaving military service. In that role he provides consulting and education services pertaining to the principles of performance excellence to individuals and organizations of all types throughout the country. He is a nationally recognized expert in leadership systems, strategic planning, relationship building, measurement systems, human resource management and process management.
John resides with his wife Terri in Fair Oaks Ranch; they are a blended family with five grown children. They have been attending Cibolo Creek since they moved to Texas in 2004.

Barry Renfroe
was born and raised in the Texas Panhandle. He
graduated from Canyon High School and then WTSU
in Canyon, Texas with BBA degrees in Finance and
Accounting. His banking career began in Dallas
as a bank examiner for the OCC before moving to
the other side of the desk as a banker. He
worked for Bank One for two years, and now works
for The Independent Bankers (TIB) Bank.
Barry and Anne were married in 1995. In late
2003, the Renfroes moved to a few acres just
east of Boerne and began attending Cibolo Creek
Community Church. Barry & Anne have been blessed
with two wonderful children, a daughter Bailey,
born in 1996 and a son Marshall, born in 2000.

Susan Toensing
was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario and came
to Texas by way of New York, Ohio and Minnesota.
Susan graduated from The Ohio State University
with a B.S. in Animal Science. While working as
an Agricultural Economic Analyst in Minnesota
she earned a Masters Degree in Agricultural
Economics from the University of Minnesota. She
is currently employed as a Sales Manager for
Pfizer Inc. on the Veterinary Pharmaceutical
side of the business.
Susan lives with her husband Dean, two dogs and
a cat in Cordillera Ranch. After looking for a
church home for several years found Cibolo Creek
Community Church in the spring of 2004. They
have enjoyed being part of a small group since
the fall of 2005.

Robert Vogel
was born in Oakland, California, but spent most
of his formable years in Lake Tahoe, California.
He attended the University of Wyoming on a
swimming scholarship seeking a degree in Zoology
and Ornithology. He married his wife, Nikii, 18
years ago, and moved to Austin, Texas. Robert
and Nikii have two boys Ryan (17), and Ashton
(13).
Robert worked
with HEB Grocery for 17 years. While at HEB, he
worked in manufacturing, marketing and retail.
His drive and focus were on leadership and team
development. After 17 years, he resigned from
HEB and started pursuing an entrepreneurial
opportunity and employment with Ten Gates
Management Group where he currently works.
When they moved to Boerne, their family tried
multiple churches, including Cibolo Creek. On
one faithful Sunday while driving to another
church they were passing Cibolo Creek and Nikii
said “I thought we were going to our church.”
That sealed the deal for Robert. They have been
attending Cibolo for 3 years. Robert has served
in many areas at Cibolo including Small Group
Leader, Small Group Coach, Discipleship
University Team Member and Worship Guitarist.
