Chris Janse
attended Texas Tech University where he earned a
bachelors degree in Finance. After spending nine years
as a real estate lender, Chris started a paving business
in Houston with a childhood friend. In 2000, Chris sold
the business and this enabled him and his family to move
to the beautiful town of Boerne. Chris and his wife of
over 20 years Carolyn, have two girls, ages seven and
ten. The family was attracted to Cibolo Creek's friendly
atmosphere, upbeat music and excellent, biblically based
teaching.

Mike Spell
was born and raised in South Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M in Chemical Engineering and worked for the The Dow Chemical Company for 26 years in Texas and Michigan. In 2004, he took early retirement, moved outside of Bergheim, and began consulting. However, his favorite job to date was working at a service station as a teenager where he got to fix cars and help people all day. Mike and Cathy have been married over 30 years and have two wonderful daughters, Courtney and Kelsey, who are both in college.

Michael Vonderhaar (Executive Pastor)
attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma,
where he studied Music Education. After college, he
began a career in Financial Services as a Stockbroker
and Investment Consultant. In July 1999, Michael made a
decision to leave the marketplace to serve in a part
time position as Director of Administration at Cibolo
Creek Community Church and in January 2000 came on board
full time.
He and his wife Ellen have been married
since 1986
and have a son, Chris, who is a
student at UT.

Paul Wilson (Senior Pastor) attended a small
private college in Northeastern Pennsylvania where he
earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Studies
in the spring of 1984. He then attended Dallas
Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas. He received a
Master of Theology degree with a major in Bible
Exposition. He was also that year's recipient of the
seminary's H.A. Ironside Award in Expository Preaching.
In 1991, Paul joined the staff of High Point Church in
Madison, Wisconsin, where he served as Pastor to Single
Adults for six years. He left his position in Madison to
become the founding pastor of Cibolo Creek Community
Church in Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas where he serves in his
present position of Senior Pastor.
Paul and Charlotte make their home in Fair Oaks
Ranch, Texas with their two young sons, Paul and
David.
